About Brad .
The former assistant coach of the University of Colorado men's golf team and served as the head coach during the 2005-2006 season. Coach Neher was voted the Reader's Choice Best Instructor for Juniors by the Colorado Avid Golfer in 2016. The CAGGY Awards honor exceptional instructors every year by coaches who show exemplary motivation and who set an example for the golf instructional community. An honorable mention U.S. Kids “Top 50” Junior Instructor of America in 2006, he was the CEO/Founder of ACE (Access, Competition & Etiquette) Golf Foundation which he formed in 1998, running the organization until it merged with the Gold Crown Junior Golf Association in 2003. Jennifer Kupcho, LPGA Tour player, got her first opportunity to play golf in the ACE Junior Club. .
From 1999-2006, he created concepts and fulfilled fundraising efforts to build the Gold Crown Junior Learning Center. In that role, he developed all GCJGA instruction programs that served the youth of Metro Denver, including clinics for the Boy’s & Girl’s Clubs of Metro Denver. He worked as a GCJGA Director of Instruction for the past eight years (2003-11). .
Brad was also the Director of Instruction at Eagle Trace GC and Colorado National. Brad has two professional wins, the 1999 U.S. Open Local Qualifying & 2008 Continental Airlines Pro-Am. He was a varsity letter winner for the nationally ranked CU golf team in 1992-93 and 1993-94. Neher qualified for the 1992 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship, was a Colorado Cup Team member, and captured six amateur titles. Brad places an emphasis on the “FUNdamentals” of the game and believes that fun golf depends on personal successes and improvement. He is currently working on his first golf book, Simple 7! .
